when content is too much content...

I'm starting an indie type site - music, art, girls, etc. - and having links to model and some porn sites on it. Rather than just throwing up links/banners, I'm thinking of having a gallery area with a list of 10? sponsors where I will have a gallery or 2 from each sponsor.

Is there such a thing as giving away too much content on a fairly non-porn site or is it good to give a sampling of this much content?

Is it better to have just one gallery from each sponsor? Better to have just links directly to that sponsor?

anyone? the lines are open.

that all depends on what your goal is. i have a site like this myself, but the guys on my lable dont want to be associated with anything porn related. so i keep it limited to stratigicaly placed text links. i think the sponsor gallery is a good idea, but you might want to keep it at a minimum if you dont want your surfers to ignore the music, art, etc...

does that make :2 cents: ?

Makes sense to me, but it's a catch22 sorta for me...if I make the site w/o girls/porn, people email me saying "where are the girls" and if I make the site with girls/porn, the bands/artistic people will think it's just a porn site.

I guess I will have to make it friendly to both - I've had record labels email me saying they'd like to buy ad space - which is weird because the site isn't complete (but it's getting decent SE traffic).

Maybe keep it SFW? Lot's of non-nude babes. I dunno.
