legal? illegal?
I'm starting a site and the only images I'm using currently that aren't for sponsors (banners, galleries) are thumbs for my navigation area. (I currently have it setup so that each button is a girls face).
My question is say I'm promoting 10 different programs on my site. Is it completely against (most) TOS to use an image (girls face) as my navagation? If it's not in the TOS?agreement, do you think sponsors would have a problem with this? |
Ask them if you really want to know.
Apart from that, if you use their pictures' thumbs for their galleries or sites, it's probably ok. If you use them for anything else than that, it's probably not. |
i have used images in similar situations, it seams they allow it providing they are the major sponsor on the page.
but id def ask them :2 cents: |
by the way, this is the same thing as using fixed images on a TGP as thumb spots, or category holders.
