Number of sponsors on a site

Not counting link trades, is it bad or good in your opinion to list alot of sponsors on a site?

What is your limit?

I guess it doesn't matter if a site is getting a ton of SE traffic, but this is for a site getting SE and link trade traffic - approx. 5,000 hits a day.
