What is your average rebill percentage?

and what is a good one?

Marcus 08-07-2003 11:54 AM

I'm at about 30%'ish

Strife 08-07-2003 11:56 AM

I believe the industry average is around 30%

StuBradley 08-07-2003 12:07 PM

I do about 40%. But I shoot all of my own stuff and amateur sites seem to to better rebilling overall. That's why I pay $32 a signup rather than 50%...I make more $$$ in the long run.

Actually I woud like to say the average at Epoch is around 36%. With the new isa regs it will go up because the initials are going down a tad but the number of quality customers will go up because the verification requirements are stiffer. Crazy how a bad thing can end up showing promise.

besterman 08-07-2003 02:04 PM

deluxepass has a consistent 50% rebill rate from my experience

Juicy D. Links 08-07-2003 02:05 PM

45 % with one sponsor I have been using for 2+ years

Morgan 08-07-2003 02:07 PM

99% - I threaten them if they try and cancel.

No one will ever tell the truth, except me. I average 36 months retention.

According to one of the processors at Internext, (can't remember which) their average for all customers is 2 months.

Master_Yoba 08-07-2003 02:47 PM

TennCoreClub has 43% last month according to CCBill stats

freeadultcontent 08-07-2003 03:31 PM

Just checked our year to date stats and our site rebills at 62.67%.
For the month we are rebilling at 72.3%

Did not break it down to how many months the average subscriber stays, yet it all looks good to me.

That's not a very clear question.

Are you asking what percentage of trials convert to monthly? Or what percentage of monthly subscribers will rebill for another month?

The second number should be much higher than the first.

Boris 08-07-2003 04:02 PM

and what would you think is the average membership retention?

1-3 months?
3-8 months?
8-15 months?

rebill for second month... not trial to full membership

Fabien 08-07-2003 04:09 PM

Mine as dropped so much !!!

Shit you could live a good life on rebills alone about 3,4 years ago....

SomeCreep 08-07-2003 04:40 PM

That 30% average retention rate sounds about right. So in other words, on average 3 out of every 10 signups will rebill to the next month.

Then for us like I said 7 out of 10 will rebill for the second month.

That should be 50% or better....depending on the site/niche and pricing.

Sites without trials tend to have higher rebill percentages, but overall almost everyone will make more money with trials.

I would say the opposite. We killed trials, upped the price a tiny bit and are doing more sign ups now than when we had trials.

wargames 08-07-2003 05:28 PM

about 50%
