Cloaking urls on a page by page basis??
Anyone here that has ever cloaked a full url for example domain.com/cgi-bin/folder/page.htm and only showed domain.com??
I can't use frames as this is for my toplist and that's where the incoming traffic will go. I need to mask pages in 2 categories with 2 different urls. I want the incoming hits to show domain.com or sub.domain.com depending what category, as the url - not domain.com/toplist/category.html When searching most part of the day yesterday, I found a ton of hosting companies that offered this service so I know it's out there. I was just hoping that it would come in a code that I could add to my pages... Anyone that knows or can point me to the right direction? Thanks, Kamilla |
wow noone knows how to do this?? :(
Am I the only one who ever wanted to hide a full path?? lol Thanks, Kamilla |
Have you looked at apache module rewrite?
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/mod/mod_rewrite.html You can do it fairly easy. Check the docs. --A |
