Suggestons for private forum / task list
 

Good evening, looking for advise as to a website or online software that will allow all members of our staff to view tasks / messages. Note we are looking for a PRIVATE forum or alternative method of communicating between our staff ONLY (not available to others). Thanks for all your suggestions..............

Well, you can always get a forum software like vbulletin that's commercial for like $150 or something, and then only give your people access to it, don't allow new signons not setup by the administrator .. And then setup a ticketing system like Resource Tracker, or keystone, or bugzilla for task lists..

IMHO, ticketing systems work a lot better than having generic task lists.. it allows you to put pressure on people to get things done individually, and track progress on stuff..

Another option would be to get a portal/blog thing going like slashdot, allow everybody to post to it, and have boxes in there for task lists. .
