I like white noise.

pink noise is even better...sounds like the sea...kinda :)

I had a bad stint with it a few years ago. It lasted for about 2 years, then it just went away. I thought it was from playing the drums, but I think it had something to do with a bad ear infection I had. It seems to have gone away for good now.

Hope I never get it again. It's a bitch trying to get to sleep.

i got it from playing the drums (as well).... played it for years without proper ear protection...stupid me.

I have Tinnitus- it sucks- I caution people whho go to rock concerst to always wear earplugs-

There is no cure for it- some days are better than others for me
But if you stay away from loud noises and flying ( which I do alot) you can control it.

i totally agree with you... wear earplugs people... and yes... some days are better than others and staying away from noises is a must. (noise drives me nuts)

i wonder how all the rockstars get away without tinnitus after beeing on tour for such a long time.... do they?

Chinese wisdom, fwiw, is to do this first thing in the morning:
Before you piss, make 1-2 cups of hot water, as hot as you can stand and still drink it right down without burning yourself. Then lie on your Right side for as long as you can stand it, or for 10 minutes, which ever is first. it's important for NOT PISS before you do this.

I've tried it, usually it's the need to piss that ends the session.

Chinese believe that tinnitus is caused by liver problems, the hot water in your belly warms the liver. Not sure why the no piss thing, I think it's chi or something.

I've heard several ppl have relief from this. I don't have it so bad, so I don't bother to do it. If you try it and it works please post.
