This is what a venturi does:
A venturi is merely two funnels shoved together. The inlet funnel is generally larger then the outlet funnel. What happens is that by constricting the airflow through the funnels that air pressure is changed resulting in a wide variety of benefits. One application is in airplane instrumentation. These instruments measure the air pressure coming out of the venturi and provide the pilot with vital information to keep you alive. Another application is that they cause gasses to mix more vigorously thus speeding up the cleaning of what comes out of oil fields. The latter is where my dad excelled and that is where my nick came from. I'm a venturi - I mix shit up and on the ass end of things everything is good.

Ok, enough frivality. FiveEyes, I do remember you from the 69Spot days and yes I have a keen eyeball on what you do. You have seemed to have gained a new life, so to speak, here and I really hope you continue providing the quality info you have thus far that I've seen. Sorry that I didn't get your "joke" and hit you back hard. There's no reason to have drama here that isn't warranted. I wasn't looking for it when I started this thread and I'm not looking for it now.

I started this thread on a lark because in my *esteemed* 70+ posts here noone has flamed me and I felt left out and thought it'd be funny. I overreacted to your post and should have taken it as what it was. History sucks and I apologize for coming back so hard on you. That was very inappropriate of me. Seriously.

I know it's difficult to see someone in a different light after a bad display, and I'd be the first to admit that you did see my worst possible side at that point in time. But, as baddog pointed out, it was a long time ago. Not only was the issue finally dropped, but I even apologized for the way I handled it at the last.

And, though I realize that I'll always have a "wild injun" label from that incident, I truly hope that the few that were aware of the incident at the time can realize there is another side to me. A side that does take things in an easy manner and can joke back and forth.

If nothing else, that incident did show me that I was taking myself too seriously at the time and, when I encounter a like individual, it's just best to steer clear of them.

Butting heads just results in a bloody hat...
