FAR too open ended to answer. Anything from 1-1 to 1-1000+ depending on traffic source, niche, size of the the moon, temperature in Sydney and whether or not my Gran has shaved this morning.

Really depends on who is sending you traffic and from where. Our best micro-niche site is doing about 1:90 average on all sorts of traffic. Average for all our sites would have to be around 1:250 or so ... however we don't get a whole heap of tgp traffic and our affiliates largely know what they are doing so that would help the ratio.

currently our conversion ratios are between 1:21 and 1:250

Best i ever had was 1:16 and that held for 3 glorious months .... but then the traffic sources decided to turn into tgps and bam ..... ratios were fucked ! :)

Example 1 :

I have a gallery at thehun getting 100.000 hits to my gallery.
On the gallery I have a "free video samples" link which generates a shit load of clickthroughs of a low quality. Lets say that like 3000 people clicked, and 3 signed up. Then the ratio is 1:1000

Example 2 :
I have a gallery at thehun getting 100.000 hits to my gallery.
On the gallery I have a "Sign up here for $39.95" link - a link like that generated very little, but very good traffic. Lets say that 100 people clicked and made 2 signups. Then the ratio is 1:50

Conclusion :

Well, in the above sample I prefer the 1:1000 ratio .. sooo... ratios says nothing!!!

The only correct way to measure is traffic versus sales.

I'm using you guys on high quality traffic, conversion is an average of 1:70 to 1:160 and I think you should expect within this range if you run a tight, controlled traffic system as you scale up.

As a word of warning though, there is no way to scale up volume by a large factor and expect conversion ratios to remain low - they will almost ALWAYS rise.

I'm doing with TGP traffic between 300-1000 banner clicks for signup and there's no rules. it's up to sponsor and their sites.

your going to get alot of wild answeres to this question, but truth is, its harder to judge that now days, plus you have to take into account the type of site and your traffic sources. If you use targeted traffic, you should be able to get from 1-100 to 1-300 depending on how targeted it is. TGP traffic, forget it, you will go bankrupt before turning a profit. Take into consideration the economy and the state of the internet nowdays.
Now days there are less tech companies and less companies that tolerate porn surfing so getting signups during the business day dont seem to be as good, 10 million people out of work, people on limited budgets have kept alot of surfers to getting the freebies then moving on to the next site. So your question is pretty wide open, but look at your traffic source, if its junk traffic, dont expect much, if its targeted, expect better then your getting with TGP's :)
