Hate asking for charity
 

and I don't expect any of you to help but I'm in a serious bind and don't have any other place to turn.

I won't bore you with the details...that, and I honestly don't want to recount what's happened so I'll try to summarize.

Lost both parents to cancer..most recently, my father in April. No life insurance or savings. Been working odd jobs and trying to start a web-business for the past year or so..with little success. I have just lost my regular job, which paid just above minimum wage, and don't have a dime to my name. (actually, that's not true, I have $0.25 as hard as that is to believe, on my bank checking statement). I'm behind on the water and electricity bill this month and my rent is already $275 behind from the previous two months..my landlord has been understanding but is growing impatient (which I fully understand). I have no other family (except a younger brother that I take care of) to turn to. My two dogs are healthy, however, and so are myself and my brother..I am thankful for that.

I've survived before and I'll survive this time but things are just looking really bleak right now. Before you ask, I am out looking for work and I have cut my bills down to the bare essentials (Internet will be cut off at the end of this month unless I find a job before then).

If you flame me for this, that's your choice and I can't say that I would blame you. Like I said, I don't expect anyone to help out a stranger but on the off chance that you have a few dollars in your paypal account to send to someone in dire need, I thought I had to take that chance.

I can't thank you enough. I wish I were bsing about losing both of my parents to cancer, that would mean that they were still here, but I am not. You didn't have to help out a stranger...I am, and always will be very grateful that you did.

You don't know what this means to me after these past few months. It's very hard to swallow one's pride and ask people for help ... I am honestly tearing up right now...thank you so very much for helping me out.

Do you realize why beggers beg? Its because people give them money. If people didnt give them money, what would happen? Would they shrivel up and die? no. They would be forced to get a job, work, make money.. and be better off. Its people like you who support people who ask for handouts that make this world worse. Shit happens all the time. My aunt has had a rare cancer in her neck and treatment for he last year. My gramps ( her father died in June ) and my hub found out a few weeks ago that he may have a pituitary tumor. We are waiting for mri on the 6th..

I fully intend to pay each cent back that I receive. I am a prideful person that wasn't brought up to ask for charity but things have a way of messing up in your life. I have a couple of friends and they do not have the ability to help me out with a small loan but they help me out just by being there and I am extremely grateful for knowing them. The small company that I worked for went out of business without much of any notice. I have spent the morning filling out applications in my small town with places like Hardees and Burger King and gas stations.

You have no idea how hard this was to post and I hope you never will.

So go update something.
