I don't mind a few of the songs off the new album, but what's with that song "Invisible Kid"? Was James smoking crack the day he recorded those vocals or what?

I agree on everything about there new album but fuck there new album I seen them on summer sanitarium and they only sang 2 songs off that album, the best ones, frantic and st anger , the rest we're oldie but goodies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup :thumbsup

the summer sanatarium show I saw mid July was THE best experience I have ever had.

the new album sucks without a doubt, but they still are my favorite band of all times. :glugglug

I will always give them props for all the great music they made that I grew up on. Lars may be an attention whore, but he got me into playing drums so he ain't all bad.

Metallica is a all time top 5 band. Whoever thinks otherwise can stick Hetfield's guitar up their ass!

Not many other old time bands still tour year after year and cater to their fans like Metallica does.

but now, i choose to ignor what they are doing ... i feel that if i listen or pay attention to what they do now .. it will only tarnish my opinion of how good they used to be

sure they can still play their old shit and rock it out ... but this new "St Anger" stuff is garbage ... it sounds like Larz is banging on tin cans in his garage .... and NO GUITAR SOLOS??? I actually sat and fastforwarded through every track to see if it it was worth a damn ... what band am i listening too???

I am sure that they will get enough MTV/Radio play that people will just accept it,learn the words, and learn to luv it.... the same way everything else works now
