Haha, you can't be serious. I'd tell him if Uncle Vito has so many connections he shouldn't have a problem coming up with a few thousand dollars to buy the domain back from you. Also, be sure to explain to him the concept of "expiration".

one of my domains i got threats for buying, was told im an un-original bastard cause i got it, over a month after it expired, i didnt even know it had been someone elses.

well although it's too late when i register expired domains I always use a mail forwarding place, and have my cell phone number. Exactly for this sort of bullshit..

legal issues are pretty easy to deal with, but threats of violence are somthing else. Although >99% chance this is just an empty threat it's not something I'd sit comfortably with.

Seriously. Post the domain name here as well as the full headers of that email the person sent you. Also fwd it to the FBI and local authorities.

Don't respond to that person. Ignore them and just post here as well as send to the Feds (be sure to include the full headers, of course).
