Anyone knows what happened? Whole iicinternet.com is down for several hours... nastydollars.com is down for several hours... it seems like disaster :helpme

iicinternet has always been a disaster

Every day new people come into play and prices get cheaper, and some people have unrealistic ideas of what is truly required to offer reliable services with good support. I remember I checked them out once, their prices were outrageously cheap.

If you are looking for affordable, reliable hosting, hit me up. If you are looking for cheap and understand what the consequences are, we can do that too ;)

Your own network was down several times this week, your virtual hosting guys were on here saying how their sites weren't up and were waiting for you to fix it.

Why dont you leave the sales pitch off for a while if your stuff isn't upto par.

iicinternet are morons and scammers.

Had nothing but trouble with them plus they kept billing my card when i left them.

How long has Nastydollars been down???

Don't you just hate when you are driving traffic to a program and the hosting goes down?

The servers i have with them are down also...
Since it seems a network-wide issue, i am pretty sure it'll be back up soon enough..

Several times? Sorry but that is misinformation and you know it. So I wonder why you posted it Unfortunate events like server crashes *can* occur from time to time and probably will at one time. But it doesn't have anything to do with the network though.

We always spread virtual hosting accounts over multiple servers. The fact that we responded so quickly and went back up before *most* people even noticed should tell you something. Good luck seeing a 'cheap' host recover from a R.I.P. server. On top of that a free month was offered too all clients on that particular server (which were less than 20 by the way).

We really don't have much problems with the uptime unlike most people think. Good luck getting any reicent customers say anything bad about the services or network in general.

Your main website and virtual hosting on the same machine? Sounds like you have only 1 virtual hosting box, and took your site and all the clients down with it.

The only reason I bring this up is because I dont understand how you can use other people's downtimes to promote your own faulty product.

They were moved (together with the IPs) to another server as soon as the filesystem on the old one was recovered (with a partial upgarde from Redhat 8 to Redhat 9). They were moved back and are now on both servers for redundancy. Why did you post nonsense about the network being down several times this week (wow) when it was actually only the main server that died?

Sounds to me like you just have to find an excuse why we are cheaper than 'your other' host. Perfectly normal though, that's how the human brain works, if the other end looks better, there just must be something wrong with it. I could be wrong though, correct me :winkwink:

There was probably some global network problem. IIC and Nasty Dollars went down at same time and now they both went online at same time. And Nasty Dollars is not hosted on IIC :)

Ok, I never said you were cheaper, or said you were a bad host, what I said was, you suffered some network issues, which was incorrect, your main server died, even better. What I couldn't understand is how you are trolling on other people's problems and trying to pick up business just several days after your own was in peril! If you fail to see that, maybe you should check your self before you wreck yourself.
