We checked the logs, he did not make a local copy of the submit page. He just hitting back and reposted a bunch of times hoping they would go through. Totally legit.

The board's database was backlogged about an hour, so the winner actually posted a long time before the database updated with the info.

Whether thats true or not, if I was Lensman, I would've said the same thing just to stop the hate. :)

I think it was just wrong to do shit like lock the board with message like "Ready for a winner? Not Yet!" for several minutes at a time when people where trying to guess what time the winning post was going to be made

I didnt make a guess for what time it was going to be made, so dont bitch about me whining about it, it just seemed fucked up to me to do that.

If lensman says it was legit, then sorry Tipsy. Lensman jumped the gun and gave many of us the wrong impression.

The logs are from the webserver. So he could have posted 2 within 4 seconds, but the board script probably blocked the last one because of the 35 sec limit.
