Fuck Comcast, what do you guys think about DSL?

My internet right now is slower than 14.4! Its fucking ridiculous, this happens about 3 times a week now in my area, sometimes I cant surf the net at all but my trillian instant messaging works fine.

Everytime I call Comcast they run tests but find nothing wrong with my computer or modem, they just tell me they are doing service updates in my area...they wont even give me a credit. I am so sick of calling them and paying the 46 dollars a month for internet that I could get better from a bunch of monkeys! :feels-hot

So whats everyones thoughts on Quest DSL?

There is no better or worse when it comes to DSL and cable connections...I've had both, cable was better in my old apartment, but DSL is better in my current place. There are a ton of variables that factor in to connection speed with DSL, mainly the distance from CO and physical integrity of the phone lines into your house. With cable, you're most likely sharing bandwidth with other users in your neighborhood, so if you live around a bunch of fucking frat boys, you're probably gonna have shitty speed, because they're too busy downloading shit. But if you live in the ghetto, a cable conection might be fast, because crackheads don't care about the internet.
