I just thought that, I have a site I started 3 weeks ago that allready has a pr of 5, and it was definatly only 3 last week

Just updated the PR and backlinks.

Nope, my backlinks havent moved. And I definately gained a handful of good ones this past month.

there seems to be a big difference in the datacenters on updates.

for example if u type in bondage to www.google.com u will notice
27,300,000 results, but if u go to www2.google.com the same keyword is 29,100,00 results, so deff has added alot, not sure when this will be udpated in the main index tho.

I'm pretty sure that differences between the datacenters is an indication that the dance is currently underway. When they are all identical it is settled down until the next dance.

Google PR has been all sorts of weird for me. One of my newer sites one minute ahs a PR 2 and I go back to it later and it's PR 0 check again a hour or so later and it's back to 2. Never seems the same hour to hour.

You'll notice yahoo's back links changed on one of the 4.

Google is trying to move away from the "mothly" - so who knows.

Ya. I noticed the PR change as well. I had one drop for a PR6 to a 5, but the other domains are on the rise. :thumbsup

as of 5:46pm est the updae is still underway

The first couple of times i would watch nad be all worried. Now i just ignreo it and keep working. it helps the long run cash flow.

that's what i say - just let the shit happen - even if it does not go your way - all's you can do is try to improve it by the next go round

yep, looks like a couple of my sites lost some PR, but overall it was a gain!

the indexes are still moving and i'm still seeing some greybar.

pr improved greatly, indexes look almost exactly the same for my sites.
