Who builds them, for how much per site, how fast etc... i'm thinking about a new project so i need rates.

Content is besides the point, i need creative writers

Site builders who double as creative writers :)

i'll be happy with site builders who can write without a gazillion typos in it, i'll provide the content, tho it's not the most important thing

In the past, I've retained quite a few webmasters that made me 1 or two free sites per day at about $30 to $50 per four-page site. However, the have have all drop the ball on me at one point.

I would not recommend a gallery designer to build you a LL free site because they tend to concentrate too much on the graphic and little on the non-graphical text that help convert free site and get indexed on SE.

I've returned to building two free sites per day myself instead of having someone else do it for me. I'm also looking for a software that would be able to make me free sites based on the 100+ template I currently have on my database, if you know of one, please let me know!

Are there enough link lists around that allow 2 daily submissions to make building 2 galleries worthwhile? I've always only built 1 free site daily. Of course, if you had your own link list it would prove worthwhile.

So true. Free sites are all about the text and geting good SE traffic. Make sure you get someone who knows where to put text and makes good use of keywords.

I can't really recommend anyone. I build my own.
