New ATI Radeon 9800XT Released !!
 

Well guys, I know that it's not too much of an improvement over the current top of the line video cards (as far as I know), but ATI is selling a limited amount of their Radeon 9800XT video cards for $499 with FREE Half-Life, but it doesn't come with it, you have to either download it for free or send out, paying for the shipping and handling since the game isn't out yet.

I ended up ordering one because I currently need another video card to put into a second computer, so I figure instead of paying $200 for an ok card and then paying $50 on Half Life 2, that I could just buy the Radeon 9800xt and put my old Radeon 9700 into my old system, so for $250 more I can have a top of the line card in my new system and a Radeon 9700 Pro for my old system.

I guess that on the plus side, the next line of cards isn't gonna be out until April/May, so I'll have at least 8 months to enjoy having the best card for playing Half Life 2 and Doom 3 (if that game comes out on time).
