Vancouver Webmasters.Newspaper Interview?
 

Got this email from The Province (local newspaper for people who don't know) And this reporter is writing a series about the changing face of adult entertainment in Vancouver and would like to interview me. This is weird as He gave me a legit phone number to call him.WTF would he want to talk to me for? Is this some kinda conspiricy? :BangBang: Am I getting set up by Revenue Canada :BangBang: Just wondered did anybody get asked for a interview as well?

Never trust the press. Why would they want to HELP you? Adult isn't a face the PROVINCE wants to shine a holy light on.

I just wondered how the press found out about me.The only place I have my location is on here and he tracked my email from one of my sites. My whois is private...At least it better be :(

Some newspapers are ok if you get a reporter who isn't some religious freak on a vendetta.

Its a pretty big newspaper here in Vancouver...I was wondering why I kept seeing Pacific press on my call display..I thought they were trying to sell me a newspaper subscription.I guess since I don't answer my phone he emailed me :1orglaugh

This guy has been emailing me for a month. Telling me he heard we are the biggest porn company with a presence in Vancouver. I explained to him, I am a tgp webmaster and making $1000 a month.

Not to mention last time Shaw Internet was mentioned in a paper in Vancouver by Steve Sweet, all I got was a 2+ year legal battle with shaw communications that cost me $200k. Finally signed our settlement with them this week. (we keep the domain shawinternet.com)

I talked to him briefly and told him how I startd my site and why I did it. It was a pretty brief interview. He promised not to publish my photos or real name, and he seemed pretty new to the whole subject, just in the researching stage.

Damn, I wouldn't do that...
