Adult outsourcing

http://www.adult-outsourcing.com/

Anyone else try these guys before?.. I have a lot of grunt work that needs to be done, so I'm thinking about hiring one of their Webmasters. From what I gather, these guys are overseas workers which is what makes it cheap.. but how well do they speak english?

Any comments would be appreciated..

Havent tried them personally, but from most reports about this and similar programs is that complicated tasks like programming or complex web design are hit or miss. With something simpler like grunt work you are more likely to be satisfied though, since the chances of fuck ups are smaller.

Anyone else with comments or experience using them?.. One concern is being able to speak english properly.. not just understandable but if I'm having them do gallery submits, I want them to come up with descriptions that make sense. Second, if they are overseas and work a set shift per day.. what about the time zone difference?

I realize these are some questions I could ask them directly but I'd much prefer hearing any good or bad comments from people who have used their service themselves in the past.. always much better to get an unbiased answer.

A client of mine is using them....he's very happy with his programmer...the webmaster he hired is doing okay but has limits with grammatical English.

overseas means its a different economy.. $800/month might be a LOT to them. because they were educated elsewhere, that doesn't make them any less qualified does it? the only barrier would be the language..

Nickless 10-02-2003 11:00 PM

what are you looking for? there are lots of people here that might want to do that job for the same amount of $

4Pics 10-02-2003 11:01 PM

Stop sending the jobs out of here when there are people here who can do it.

and people wonder why the economy sucks so bad.

Hi Rage,

If you're looking for gallery submitters, I think we come with one of the best offer. Please contact me for more information, I will be glad to answer your questions.

If you look at thier website it appears the graphic designers and web cartoonists are happy people. The webmasters and sys admins appear to be unhappy, or upset with thier job. Just a heads up! :1orglaugh

If you are getting code outsourced, you might want to go with someone who speaks the same language as you. It can be really difficult to get your explaination across when there is that barrier and I know from coding experience that the company taking your job would really really like if they could get an excellent description of what you want.

i was using them for 3-4 months, and I really must say that their work is VERY good...naturally its all about what employee they send your way, but the guy i had (onaq) was damn good, perfect in english (better than most of you guys in here ;) ) and very efficient.

Chris 10-03-2003 12:58 AM

Hmm i agree with the post about there are alot of people here looking for work that will do it for the same price and will get the job done.

I know my self i am alwasy looking for grunt work to do. I like to make money and i like to learn . SO what more can you ask ?

just my two cents

Just a quick question, how long do you get the workers for. I mean, it says $895 for a web designer, but for how long is this for?

It's per month.

Why did you stop using them?

They're in the Philippines. English is one of two official languages.
Most educated Philippinos speak English fluently.

Johny Traffic 10-03-2003 04:35 AM

Interesting idea, I might give them a go

Bigdogg 10-03-2003 08:23 AM

I tried them for the 1 week trail! The guy i got was not very good, he spoke good english tho. But when I ask for another designer, they never followed thru. They told my designer could do 5 sites per week, and I only got 2 unfinished sites.. :(

wargames 10-03-2003 08:59 AM

havent heard much but seems very intresting. I was thinking of getting it as well to handle all the little annoying things like submitting to tgp, avs, and free sites.
