Hmm the more I write the more I see the answer.

IMO there is not much difference.There are slight advantages with either.

ABChuman-readableABC.com

can do just as well if marketted right, UNLESS you are going for branding then id keep it short and sweet.

If you have a choice of buying either; humanreadabledomains.com or, human-readable-domains.com buy both of them and use them both :thumbsup

Make sure that you use alternate meta tags and keywords on the pages though so that both domains do not get banned from google :2 cents:

it depends which SE you are targetting.

makes no difference to google - domain names affecting rankings is a myth.

if your domain name is exactly the keyword they are searching for,, it will make a difference

keywords in domain names do play a factor in google. one amongst many other factors but sometime its enough to make a difference .

Actually he is right, the navigation structure of your site pays much more of a vital role in google than keyworded domains :Graucho

You obviously think it plays no part where I think it is a factor in google's algo.A small one no doubt but sometimes its enough to make a difference.
Also I will tell you where it can make a big difference and that is when other sites link to you using your domain name.Your keyword domain then becomes anchor text.

I'm with you on that one.

But in general is googles alg**** is stupid. This spam sites on top sometimes. I started to doub on google when I saw this site with a top 10 and excat same content on like 15 pages..smart.

What you see and what google see can be 2 different pages.Those sites that look like they are all the same pages are using cloaking.They show google a page full of keyword text but when a surfer visits they show a page either of their sponsor by redirect or a pretty page of their own.

well, there's other reasons also.

if you can get domains with keywords, do.

if you can't, make do :thumbsup
