What are the best ways to whiten one's teeth?
 

I heard that $1000 gets yuo laser bleaching which requires 1 visit and is the most effective method. But fuck that - too expensive.

get the crest white strips. those work just as well as the dentist, they just take longer. a dentist told a friend of mine to spend $30 rather than $500. but i don't know, that's just what i was told

quit smoking and drinking coffee and brush them for christ's sake.

i dont smoke / drink coffee and I do brush teeth

try putting shaving cream on your face and then smile in the mirror. see the difference ?

actually, I got a mold of my teeth made and the dentist gave me some whitener, it's supposed to be noticeable after 2 or 3 times, u wear it to bed and TADAHH!!!

It's very painful as well if you have sensitive teeth or poor enamel. I know a guy that had to stop half way through and only half his smile is white.. it looks ridiculous.

Colgate "Simply White" works for me

Use a sandblaster and wash it down with beer.

i hear hydrogen peroxide works just as well as the white strips, and that kinda crap. and you can get a big bottle of it for $1.00. that's what my mom says, i haven't really tried it.

JK - I don't know you, let's not start another thread about this and spend all day on GFY fighting instead of working. I just couldn't resist.

teeth aren't supposed to be ultra white. they are by nature off white. i don't smoke or drink coffee either but one thing i found help make them a bit whiter was using an electric toothbrush. fuck the chemical shit and the fake hollywood image tho. they all have dentures lol.

it does say on the bottle you can use it for mouth wash. you just don't want to use it that way on a regular basis....

Crest White Strips work really great!! And use Crest Night Effects at night.... it's a little messy but works good too. I have been using both for awhile now and my teeth are super white.

Get a tan.

:thumbsup also, regular visit to your dentist doesn't hurt.
