domain hijacking
Hello everyone, I'm the webmaster of fuckingfreemovies.com, I just found out that Brain from cupidcams.com has hijacked the domain name wwwfuckingfreemovies.com , so without the dot. I think it's really lame that somebody would do something like this. You think he should give it back to me for free?

Do you have it trademarked?
|
That's not a hijacking.
If you have a trademark, you can sue him, but if it's a generic name, there is nothing you can do. If you own cars.com, someone else can register wwwcars.com legally. If you own sony.com and someone registers wwwsony.com you can sue them. It might be cheaper to offer to buy it from him for a low price. |
Whats yours is yours.

cry baby...
its not hijacking you could sue him but it probably wouldn't worth it |
You know what Markus..funny that you bring this up. They all have been talking a whole lot of shit about me for the past month or so..ever since they fired me for no reason:(
I also found out a few days ago that they bounced not one..but TWO cheques in my bank account. Paycheques..go figure!!!:feels-hot They also accused me of stealing money from a VERY important webmaster account ( I will not name names, because I dont know if they would appreciate it or not) and spread this around everywhere. I have heard the rumours, and it really disgusts me that they would say this..when really it was a matter of them not listening or remembering things I said to them. Anyone who now wants the real story, please contact me. I dont feel like typing the whole thing here. I have wanted to say something for awhile. It is one thing when you are a terrible person and fuck people over. It is another thing when you do your job, and have your employer fucks you over, bounces 2 pay cheques in your account, and then LIES to everyone about you. This industry is built on reputation, and when someone trash talks you to everyone..it really makes it difficult to prove that you didnt do anything wrong. I was waiting for someone to bring something else up about them, because they are shady..so thanks Markus Now let me go get another ex employee of theirs, and they can come tell their story. |
Drama is good.
Spill the story Becky. |
call acacia
|
I bet they love this anyways..even bad press is good press.
Dark Jedi- It's just not my style to spill everything on here. If it was I would have spilled the beans long ago..when they fucked me over. I also dont want the company involved to be named, unless they say it is ok. I respect them very much. What I do want is for someone over at the Slickcash office to call me back and deal with these 2 bounced cheques in my bank account! I have been really nice about this..but now I dont know what else to do. They moved offices, and they wont return my calls. |
I'll still lame to do it, calling acacia is a good idea
|
Your right Markus..it is lame. It is also lame to lie about things and make someone look really bad.
You should see the ROE they gave me..it is not even filled out properly. I was being nice and just leaving them alone...the labour board would have had a hay day with it. Now that 2 cheques have bounced..I feel a little different about the situation. |

would you be saying the same thing if someone registered wwwthehun.com you would probally be ragging him say he was stealing... how is this any diffrence? It would be one thing if the guy picked up fuckingmovies.com or fuckingfree.com but when he uses the same url and just adds www I think that's a little lame. |

They also registered the domain on August 24th of this year, the day they fired me. The only reason they even knew about Markus was because Markus is a good friend of mine..and I talked up his site while I was working there. They must have waited till I was gone..wonder what else they did that day? LOL |

you have been owned:1orglaugh and that is not called hijacking ...
|
Right, it's not called hijacking, but it is quite similar to typosquatting.
Take a look at the case of Joe Shields (Joe Cartoon) vs John Zuccarini regarding a matter similar to yours, mdebeer: http://laws.findlaw.com/3rd/002236.html A |
If you have your name registered as a trademark you should pursue it, but you always have to weigh the cost vs. the reward.
Is it worth it to spend xxx number of dollars for something that probably isn't worth much at all? |
