lcd issues

just installed a new version of win2k on my home machine
now i have this issue:

my lcd screen works: all the colors are correct, color correction is set, brightness etc modified .. dirvers for the monitor installed BUT.. something's not right.

things look a bit blurry.. fonts look strange, the contrast looks strange.. and when you scroll a text the lcd screen looks like one
of those 1996 versions..

Everything seems to be a bit out of proportion and im not on drugs tonight.

Is there anything i can do besides the stuff i already mentioned?

I have a similar situation...I have yet to figure it out either...

I think it has something to do with the monitors built in restrictions and the available configs of my vid card, or some shit...I dunno...its annoying tho.

Are you using the monitor's native resolution?

Most times when you deviate from that things don't look right.

yo uneed to do the "opimization"
I have it in the menu - it's automatic.

I'm at factory setting and still strange...the text is elongated and images appear really poorly optimized...Although they look fine on a different monitor.

I chaulk it up to a shitty lcd. Thanks Lens.
