SplitInfinity Announcement RE: Fire In San Diego
Good morning to all.
This is a broadcast message to let everyone know of the current status of SplitInfinity Networks in San Diego, California. Due to major fires in the San Diego area (turn on the news) we are not allowed into our administration offices. Freeway blockages, evacuations and governement requests for cooperation are preventing us to sit at our desks. Our network is NOT IN DANGER nor are our offices. Should you need assistance, please call 619-227-8845 as our office desk phones are un-accessable at this time. PLEASE NOTE: We have full access to our network and datacenter, so servicing your requests are not a problem. The best route to service requests is to email: [email protected] Thank you. On another note, whoever has information on how these fires started, please report it. I have lost 2 homes and 3 cars. I thank god I do not live in either one of them. Both are rental properties. Chris Jester CEO - SplitInfinity Networks |
So sorry you are being affected so badly. I will quit complaining about coughing and sneezing so bad. The fires are really close to us here in Anaheim for sure. I would be pretty fucked up if all my stuff burned up. I better check my renters insurance to make sure it's upto date!
|
Dude, that sucks... hope you come out of it all right, and everything gets back to 'normal' soon....
:( |
Close to Anaheim? That is a good one... Close to Upland, La Verne, Glendora, Ontario, Fontana, yeah... Close to Anaheim? That is like 25 miles of payment away... I try to look at the bright side, its Christmas in California...

Using tragedy to spam your shitty hosting company. How sad, fuckup. :321GFY

Thanks.
I own homes in Poway, Scripps Ranch and Chula Vista. Our office is near Chesapeke in San Diego. The fire started somewhere around poway/ramona and took out 1 of my houses there, then made it to Scripps Ranch, took out another there and damaged 1 more. The fire then proceeded to show up NEAR our offices (like across the street pretty much)....... Soon after, it ended up near where I live in Chula Vista. If they don't contain it here, I may have to evacuate here as well. I live off of Otay Lakes road. I guess you could say this sucks, eh? -Chris |
yeah its pretty rough here man. (rancho cucamonga). and my parents live in north upland. i know alot of people that have been evacuated. the fire went right up to my friends back wall but didnt burn his house... its some hectic shit over here.
you got all my sympathys chris. i can imagine how hard this is for you. i hope it all works out for the best! |
That was a close call for your friend.
All I can do is hope my insurance policy works out well for it all. I do have fire insurance on all, so I think all should be ok. I'm sad for the tenants though. They lost everything. I have put them up in my home for now. Trying to help them as much as I can. I would not feel right if they were at one of the community evacuation centers. |

Been a looooong day.
Insurance companies REALLY suck by the way. I am experiencing what everyone is seeing on the news first hand. They are so ignorant. Got my tenants all settled in my home. Its a busy night here. :-) |
sorry to hear about your losses.... these fires really suck ass. Hope they get 'em under control soon. :(
|
Hey Chris...glad to hear that you and Pauline are ok. Sorry to hear about your houses. Hopefully all will be back to normal in the near future.
|
Thanks!
Im still not out of the woods though because the proctor/otay fires are heading straight to the home I am in now and we may be asked soon to evacuate here as well. Crossing my fingers. I am only a short distance from the fire front. :-O |
damn man good luck hope you don't lose anymore houses.. been there done that having a house burn down is no fun.
|
Jesus Chris.. I dreaded opening this tread..
Sorry for your loss dude. SplitInfinity Rocks!! -jason |
uh oh ----
ironic we were using u guys for a good 5 yrs i think and just recently changed to another host (strange) That is really too bad :( |
I'm in San Carlos, we got evacuated yesterday but came home today. A friend of mine from Poway is in Europe right now, I hope his place is ok.
Good luck! |
Thanks for the nice comments.
Just to note: There is nothing affecting SplitInfinity networks at all related to these fires. The losses were my personal losses....... SplitInfinity is 100% solid. Our power went out and we did not lose power due to our generators. They have been running all day with no down time. Hell, even I didn't realize we lost power until I checked my cell phone pages. Anyhow, power is restored..... again, with no notice of the transisiton. :-) Just had to add that so no one related my losses and the company. :-) In fact, if you need a server, ICQ me. 64791506 Our staff can set you up quick, fire or no fire. :-) |
Crazy, they just arrested someone leuding (sp?) a neighbors property.
I can't believe the nerve of that crack head. |
