Results of the Polygraph
 

For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about here is the simplified story..

October 4th Around 11pm I was at work closing up the store, at close i went to the office let an employee use the phone while i locked the cash and prepared (put them in a brown paper bag) the past 3 days deposits to take them to the bank although i knew i wasn't supposed to take them out after dark but i did. about 11:15 I let that same employee out the front door of the store to walk over to the gas station to see if he knew someone he could catch a ride with. I locked the door behind him and told the other employee to wait by the side door where i was parked while i set the alarm, He was carrying a bag exactly like mine with 3 hot dogs in it.. i set the cash down on the table next to the door like i always do and walked to set the alarm.. well that same employee always takes my bags out at nite so we can get out before the alarm goes off..
When i set the alarm and hurried to the door the bag wasn't their so i assumed omar grabbed it like he always does and went to open the door.. when i did a black male pushed omar off to the side while another pushed me back into the store and said.. "Where is it at?!" I was scared because of the black Glock 9mm that was in my face and said "I don't know what your talking about" he replied "Gimme the fucking money" I stuttered "He's got it" Pointing to omar. They snatched both the bags and ran off. we came back inside and locked the door and called the cops.

They think i had something to do with it since the Mexicans' (omar) story differed from mine.. I think the misinterpreted it.

Btw, I was Fired Last Tuesday because of it and I'm outta work along with 8,000 other people in this same city

Well at 8:30am i arrived for my 9am appointment with the SBI and Local Law Enforcement. Well I went through the tests 3 times and The Agent from the SBI told me That I was Lying on the question about "Do you know who stole the money from Hardee's?" In which I replied "No" Well she says i was lying and after 45 minutes of interrogation The investigating detective says "If I call the D.A. And say you failed the polygraph and your story keeps changing what do you think he will do?" "I said Probably issue a warning for my arrest" he said "Yep, Don't leave town."
I don't know if they were lying to see if id tell them something to try and get my ass outta hot water or what but I didn't have shit to do with it and Those of you who know me know I'm telling the truth. Tomorrow I'm going to contact a lawyer and see what i should do..

Any Suggestions??

Polygraph isn't admissable in a court of law.

Now with that being said, they use it as a tool to get you to admit shit you normally wouldn't.

I used to work for a company that did prescreenings of all it's employees before Texas outlawed that.

Anyway, they tried to claim over and over that I was lying about whether or not I had ever stolen from a company.

I just stuck to my story, they eventually caved in and passed me.

same here...detectives can lie to you there is nothing against the law about that.

They can tell you that others have come forward and implicated you in this, that someone will testify against you...ANYTHING to get you to admit something.

Don't buy it. Let them arrest you..if that's what they plan on doing there is nothing to stop them even if you're innocent...but DON'T admit shit...and from now on don't go in without a lawyer.

And don't buy the hype they'll give you about if you were innocent you wouldn't need a lawyer...because if they thought you were innocent they wouldn't keep going after you.

Tell them straight up..."charge me or let me go."

If they won't let you go then next thing you say is..."I want a lawyer."

They will of course say..."why you haven't been charged with anything."

Then you say..."bye" and walk the fuck out the front door.

They will either let you go, or arrest you...either way you have to press the issue...don't talk to them anymore without consulting an attorney about it.

What do you mean, tomorrow you are going to call a lawyer?

Dude, dont EVER talk to a fucking detective without your attorney present. They are NOT your friends, they ARE trying to fuck you. They already have you, its easier for them to close the case by saying you did it, then to try to find the real thief.

THEY ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS, THEY ARE NOT ON YOUR SIDE.

Thanks I needed to hear from someone who has been through this stress im going through. I am going to call a lawyer tomorrow and I think N.W.A. said it best..

Gods honest truth this is the frist time i have ever had a run in with tha law, except for a few speeding tickets.. I didnt know what i should do so i did what i thought would clear my name. not to mention the fact i dont have any money for a lawyer

I spent 7 years managing for Taco Bell.

One day I was talking to one of the owners that owned the franchise that I was currently working for...2 brothers who owned over 100 stores.

Anyway he looked at me and I swear it was the most depressing look I had ever seen....LOL and said..."If there is harder way to make a dime in this world I don't know what it is."

Fast food is fucking rough...LOL.

Ive taken a pollygraph before, it can be pretty intense, but they are worthless, I passed the questions I thought I would have difficulty answering with flying colors.

These guys had some nice cash no doubt.

But man even at 100 stores you still are pretty much hands on because of all the bullshit that's involved with fast food..the turn over rate is incredibly high even for management.

During my stint at this time I was running 2 stores *manager stole everything else out of the other* training a manager to take over a 3rd, and flying to Michigan to learn the operations of Hot 'n Now in order to run a 2 in 1 *Taco Bell/Hot 'n Now mix*

This kind of stuff went on constantly. I had an entire Mexican crew quit on a Friday night so they could attend some girls 15th birthday party...and of course this was during football season and we were getting stormed.

Fuck fast food...I pray to God I don't ever end up back there...however I won't say "NEVER" it always coes back to haunt you.

Just tell the cops whatever they want to hear and they'll go away. If you have to sign something, go ahead and do it. Don't get a lawyer for any of this, innocent people don't need them.
