Newbie Needs Help IN A BIG WAY
 

Ok, I think I will start by introducing myself. My name is Shawn Watson, and I am pretty new to the adult industry.

I have been reading the threads for months now and am just about ready to start building my sites.

Where I am running into trouble is problems is funding. I have an investor who has the revenue to fund the biz, but is still very timid about the kind of money tgps and free sites can make.

What I am doing is building 4 tgp, 4 large free sites, and a large hub site. Also I am purchasing about 145 templates for gallery posts and will be signing up with a lot of diff. affiliates.

So here is the part were I need help. I see a lot of people here posting stats of how they do with diff affils all the time. What I really hope to happen is to have this thread filled with those stats. Hopefully from aug, sept, and oct.

Ok, so I know I am now the target of major flameage, but hopefully some of you will help. Those who do I will sign up with your ref #'s and get you the referrals.

First you need hosting, good hosting that is and content.
You have either? or you looking to use just hosted gals for content?
After that you need traffic...You can either buy it which is expensive or spend time learning to submit and not get banned....
then you need to figure out how to convert so you dont come bitching on the boards about how ur getting shaved ect ect

Either way seems like you need to maybe reanalyze and come back with a sensible plan

Trying to make any business decisions based on other people's stats is pretty much pointless. Any conclusions you reach will most likely be false.

Yeah there are SOOO many variables to consider -- and most of the most important variables are carefully guarded secrets...

Ok, well I didnt expect replys this quick. So, without repeaing myself to much here we go again.

I already have 3 locations in wich I will be buying niche content.

I have hosting ready to go. I will be going with 1 of 2 sites. I am going dedicated.

I have been doing my research for months, using this site and another resource adult page to make my desicions.

I dont need the #'s for myself, I need the #'s to show the investor that these sites can be profitable.

I am just trying my hardest to get funding and need stats to show the posibilities. The conservitive math sounds great, but some people want the proof in the pudding.

skyb0lt, seriously tho...you dont think because some people can convert site A at 1:300 that you will too?

Maybe you will convert better or maybe you will convert worse, odds are tho you will have a tought time trying and will be definetally be spending more money than you make till you experiment and get a good formulae going and the right traffic sources ect ect

Well, thanks all for the replys. No I dont expect to do anything along the same lines of anyone here. All I hope to accomplish is to show the invester that your sites do make money, and I can to.
