This is what Americans would call a deep and intelligent movie.
I agree it was an ok movie but it was really made while keeping in mind that the average cinema visitor isnt the smartest person and it worked.

The average American is now saying: Wow i saw this movie tonight with a reaaaaaallly deep story.

Go to good video rent place and check out some (what you would call cult) unknown European movies if you want to see some real (deep story) movies.

BTW isnt the theme of the movie a complete rip off of Sleepers?
