This country keeps suprising me!
Now, there's a school forcing students to learn Turkisch,
what 's your opinion on that?

As we are the only country speaking proper Dutch, we have to learn English, French and German ( of course that's good 4 the business )

There are living a lot of Turkisch people in Holland ( love most of them, I truly do ) great people, but why the fuck are dutch people forced to learn Turkisch?

It 's pretty much the same as: Americans have to learn the Mexican language!

Americans would then have to learn Spanish....as Mexican is not
a language......b.t.w. I would consider Americans to learn Spanish very usefull....I guess you used a bad example LOL

Americans have to learn at least 8 languages before they graduate from highschool, so consider yourself lucky you only have to know 5.

If I understood correct the whole plan won't go, and now they offer the abbility to learn it. Not forced :)

It was always an option. One school offered it in their first class. I think if you go to that school, you still have to take Turkish but it was never forced, simply don't go to that 1 school

Last thing I heard was that they did not cancel it, but postpone rather. Due to lack of funds.

We already have the biggest mosque in entire Europe, which is pretty weird too.

Of course American kids are going to start learning Spanish.

My kids are going to learn English, German, French and Spanish.

Unfortunately, I can only speak high German and English.

Dutch always frightens me, I guess because I can understand a tiny fraction.

Hmmm, no school I ever went to required you to learn any languages, was I ripped off? LOL:1orglaugh
