Whats are good ways to remove smoke stench out of your clothes ?

Damn, after a night at a club my clothes smell like total shit.

Is there any way to get rid of the smoke smell other then washing the clothes ?

Amputate Your Head 12-06-2003 01:34 AM

Paul Markham 12-06-2003 01:34 AM

I'm only 23.
I'm too young to start collecting cats and spending evening playing chess.

Besides, almost all my friends smoke.
So it doesnt really matter where I spend time.

Do what I do.

NEVER wear the same clothes more than once.

I have made an exception to this 3 times in the last 2 years.

myneid 12-06-2003 01:51 AM

fabreeze is the best for that

iroc409 12-06-2003 01:52 AM

why not wash your clothes, hobo? :)

exactly, let the clothes hang for a couple of days and most of the smell should be gone. :glugglug

He's telling the truth, he wears the same clothing until it drops off then goes and buys some more at the Thrift shop. This man has it sorted. :thumbsup

toss in dryer with a bounce fabric sheet on low setting for about 30 min. smoke smell will be gone

Weppel 12-06-2003 04:39 AM

Hang them outside for a few hours. The wind will get rid of the smoke stains

if i wash it after every time i put them on - they gonna loose durability and turn to shit in a month.

The smoke in clubs will kill ya man!

Don't you guys have smoke free club yet?

anidifranco 12-06-2003 10:40 AM

Just wash them. These fucks telling you to febreze or bounce them on the dryer must be smokers. Smokers lose about 80% of their smelling abilities in general and 100% of their ability to smell smoke in my experience. They don't even know how rank stale smoke is. It stinks, you stinky fucks!

LadyMischief 12-06-2003 10:42 AM

A cup of white vinegar in the water when you wash.

and you think spraying them with chemicals that remove odors are gonna make your clothes last longer?

here's an idea, wash them and try not to wear the same shit everyday :winkwink:

LadyMischief 12-06-2003 10:42 AM

Just like putting a cup full of vinegar in the corner of a room wher epeople are smoking will help eliminate the smoke from the room. It absorbs it.

You need to buy more clothes. If you go clubbing, you need a wardrobe. If you're going to do it, do it right.

anidifranco 12-06-2003 10:45 AM

All you need is a normal laundering. If your clothes wear out, that's how the cookie (or shirt) crumbles. Who cares about your clothes if you stink? Duh. Buy better quality. Use the delicate cycle, line dry or dry on low. This is the best way to preserve your stuff.

burn the clothes:thumbsup

TheSpermKing 12-06-2003 01:20 PM

No, Febreeze works. Ihave a favourite T-shirt that I like to wear when I go clubbing. I usually forget to wash it when I get home at 6am, and it lies forgotten on the floor till it's time to go out again.

It's not ideal, but a few sprays of Febreeze and a few minutes hanging neutralizes the fouler odours.

Do try to wash the items occasionally though.

Oh - and use "Vanish" for removing stains in clothes. It's amazing stuff.

bawdy 12-06-2003 02:38 PM

spill stale beer on them

Getting advice on how to get rid of a smell from a smoker is like getting advice about keeping your colors bright in the wash from a blind person.
