WTF is up with my pc

It started today to scoll up and down without a reason every now and then, just a few lines but it is annoying as fuck  Can't seem to find what it is, anybody know what it can be?

hm......trojan installed and someone is playing with your mouse? :glugglug

Babaganoosh 12-17-2003 12:46 AM

It's your mouse wheel screwing up. My mouse does it once in a while. If it annoys you, try a new mouse.

Yep, it fucking killed my life. I tried all spyware, trojan removers and than I finally formatted my comp. Than when I started it up fresh it was still doing it, turns out it was my mouse. God damn fucking annoying though

Maybe a key on your keyboard is stuck or "sticky" Your spacebar also acts like scoll-bar.

johnbosh 12-17-2003 03:42 AM

When that happens to me, it's always the mouse wheel. I have been destorying my mouses/mice or whatever you call the plural at a high rate.

LOL, I was just about to post and ask you if it was a Logitech mouse.

When I upgraded from Windows ME to Windows XP I had to get rid of my Logitech optical mouse. No driver I found online would eliminate the random scrolling. I also lost the use of my Logitech Cam. I did what Microsoft intended, went out and bought a Microsoft optical mouse and have had no problem since.

I'm having problems with some b/s like this. I grab the scrollbar sometimes to go back to the top of a page quickly and the fucker goes right back where it was. I use logitech optical wireless. If that's the problem this fucker is getting smashed into 10,000 pieces soon.

pradaboy 12-17-2003 01:49 PM

try the new M$ mouses.... they can scroll sideways too (why would you need it? I have no clue) :)

slapass 12-17-2003 02:13 PM

my M$ mouse did this to me the other day. It is optical so maybe that is the issue.

Is it only on GFY? I haven't noticed it anywhere else.
