Is it possible to put a router on a dialup?

I want to be able to share 2 computers on a dialup... I know it would be slow as hell. but is it possible?

just use internet connection sharing with a hub if you want. we do that for some small ass country schools around here. Kind of a pain the ass but it works for them. Could just run a cross over cable between both computers and bypass the hub/router.

I have crossover cables on my two computers and I'm losing a lot of upload speed. I can only upload at 10kb max but most of the time its 5kb/s. Fucking annoying. Think I'm gonna go buy a hub or router when I move into my office in my attic.

BTW why would you share internet on Dial Up? That would suck.

cool thanks... I have a crossover... I may need to make a longer one. :winkwink:

Because in Vegas the place we are staying only has dialup. :( :( So we will be forced to share the dialup. I know we wont be on the net much because I am spoiled with DSL & Cable connections.

I will lose my patience pretty fast I imagine.
