I am getting hold of the korean version which is supposedly the best one in a couple of days.

I will go for Satans cheerleaders - havent seen it.

the japanese one was much, much slower i thought. the final scene where she crawls out of the tv was much creepier in it tho.

had no idea there WAS a korean version.

Wrong Turn was pretty funny. It was like Texas Chainsaw Massacre mixed with Deliverance, (but no where near as good as either of those).

If you like retarded, inbred, homicidal hillbillies it's good for a laugh.

it is probably a good idea to see the japanese version before the us :)

Anyone that I've talked to about this either loves it or hates it. Zombies a big fan of old school horror movies, it's almost a nod to B movies. If you're lookin for high budget shit, it's not gonna be for you. I laughed more than anything during the flick, I loved it.


Also, The Ring was deffinitely a good movie, but it was so, SO hyped up when I saw it that I was a bit let down. Deffinitely worth a watch though. Can't go wrong with the orgional Nightmare on Elm Street either.

"IT" has gott abe the scarriest movie I have ever seen in my whole life.

No I LOVE independent flicks and "B" movies but this way terrible. It had no direction. No ending, and moddile either, and what the fuck is up with the bunny costumes?

A good thriller/horror is Frailty. Its got Mathew Mconahay. (or however you spell it)

Major good movie with a great twist.

Hey, breakfast club WAS the 80s! Just because ringwald was in it didn't make it a bad flick. They'll play that simple minds song on the radio from time to time and I'll get so caught in a flashback it feels like I regrew a mullet. :winkwink:

And me personally, I was always creeped out more by Anthony Michael Hall. Nerdy, in that "sociopathic stalker" sort of way.

It was a good flick. Dont get me wrong. Its just that shes so, so, so damn scary. UGh weird lol

Im all about the 80's (did I just admit that outload?) Music, cartoon's, movies, you name it!

Event Horizon, I think its one of the best horror / sci-fi flicks I've seen. It's been a while so it may not be as scary, but the first I watched it I really enjoyed it.

Sam Neil is a great actor. I loved that movie. Another GREAT one with him is "In the Mouth of Madness"

28 Days was good, but a little to predictable for me.
House of the Dead was good in a different sort of way. Going into it knowing that it was a video game crossover made a big difference.
The Ring was good... Nice to see new horrow ideas.
Pitch Black was a thumbs up, but is only sort of a scary movie.

Honestly there haven't been that many good ones in the last few years... Tons of really bad ones though.
