What size bed do you have?

Is bigger better? Just curious.

jasonir 01-30-2004 03:58 AM

I have a cali king Tempur bed and yes, bigger is always better.

- Jesus Christ - 01-30-2004 03:59 AM

fouton..... lol my current DVD player cost more than my bed, but I love the fucking thing, no back pain and it turns in to a COUCH! OMG!

Amputate Your Head 01-30-2004 04:00 AM

California King in the master, Queen in the guest room, and a hammock out back swingin' from the trees. :thumbsup

(yes, bigger is better when it comes to beds)

boardersweetie 01-30-2004 04:00 AM

I have a friend who has an empire king (i think). I've never heard of it before, but it was huge. I want a bed that's at least big enough I can stretch in any direction and not touch the edge.

fuzebox 01-30-2004 04:03 AM

King seems way too wide...

Queen is just right.

Cash4Joins 01-30-2004 04:05 AM

i have a cal king, can not sleep on a queen anymore unless i have to, way too small

I'm pretty little (5'2"), so normal king size feels enormous to me. if i had the money and the room in my apt, i'd buy a cal king tomorrow.

There's not too many beds I can sleep on without my feet sticking off the edge (6'4)...

I can't believe someone actually has a twin bed around here!! My roomie has one and I swear she has to be crazy. You can never have anyone sleep over in it!

Lykos 01-30-2004 06:51 AM

King:thumbsup

Cassie 01-30-2004 07:46 AM

king, queen in second room, 2 recliners, a couch with 2 recliners....think that's enough?

BRISK 01-30-2004 07:49 AM

How much bigger is a California King than a regular king?

Slick 01-30-2004 07:50 AM

Definately queen is the way to go. Sure king is nice, but it's too damn big. I'd rather have more room in my bedroom than to have a bed with extra width that it doesn't use. PLUS on top of that, me and my wifey like to sleep towards the side of the bed, so we'd really be apart if we had a king, ha ha ha.

Size doesn't matter, it's all about the comfort. You need a nice pillowtop

TheLegacy 01-30-2004 07:54 AM

hard to do a 3some in anything less than a king

nathan_f 01-30-2004 07:59 AM

I've got a queen now, and I really need to do something about it. Seems I only get to sleep on 1/4th of the bed at night anyway...damn wife..

Big E 01-30-2004 08:25 AM

California King in the master, California King in the guest room.. it's ALL good.

And it's not just how big your mattress is, but what the quality is. I didn't know this until I slept on one of those Heavenly mattresses at a hotel a couple of years ago. MAN what a difference..! I immediately went mattress shopping and then had a coronary when I found out how much the top of the line mattresses cost, but fuck it, it was worth it - I mean, think about how much time you spend in your bed.. ?

Za Ha 01-30-2004 08:28 AM

My bed is tiny atm. Getting a new one once the new house is done. Will be a king sized min.

Sarah_Jayne 01-30-2004 08:29 AM

we are big folk so it has to be king..though whatever we had in vegas was much bigger than what we have at home and we kept losing each other in the night.

I know exactly how you feel fuzebox, it sucks. King Single is perfect if you dont have too much room, looks like a normal single but keeps your feet warm! :thumbsup

radical 01-30-2004 09:12 AM

I have a big one :thumbsup

jasmine 01-30-2004 09:17 AM

I have a CK...I love it. It also can double as a dresser top when I have no room for my clean laundry. LOL I don't have to worry about it falling off the bed or anything as I sleep in it alone (most times)!!

Not to be off topic...but...ahem...boardersweetie, I don't believe we've seen your breasts yet.

So..

I think it's high time you're welcomed fully into the loving community that is GFY. And to be fully inducted into our family, We must have a look at your breasts.:glugglug

So hon. make the picture nice and clear. And if you could smear one nipple with some grape jelly, I'd be really stoked.
