Is bigger better? Just curious.

I have a cali king Tempur bed and yes, bigger is always better.

fouton..... lol my current DVD player cost more than my bed, but I love the fucking thing, no back pain and it turns in to a COUCH! OMG!

California King in the master, Queen in the guest room, and a hammock out back swingin' from the trees. :thumbsup

I have a friend who has an empire king (i think). I've never heard of it before, but it was huge. I want a bed that's at least big enough I can stretch in any direction and not touch the edge.

King seems way too wide...

I'm pretty little (5'2"), so normal king size feels enormous to me. if i had the money and the room in my apt, i'd buy a cal king tomorrow.

There's not too many beds I can sleep on without my feet sticking off the edge (6'4)...

I can't believe someone actually has a twin bed around here!! My roomie has one and I swear she has to be crazy. You can never have anyone sleep over in it!

Definately queen is the way to go. Sure king is nice, but it's too damn big. I'd rather have more room in my bedroom than to have a bed with extra width that it doesn't use. PLUS on top of that, me and my wifey like to sleep towards the side of the bed, so we'd really be apart if we had a king, ha ha ha.

Size doesn't matter, it's all about the comfort. You need a nice pillowtop

And it's not just how big your mattress is, but what the quality is. I didn't know this until I slept on one of those Heavenly mattresses at a hotel a couple of years ago. MAN what a difference..! I immediately went mattress shopping and then had a coronary when I found out how much the top of the line mattresses cost, but fuck it, it was worth it - I mean, think about how much time you spend in your bed.. ?

My bed is tiny atm. Getting a new one once the new house is done. Will be a king sized min.

we are big folk so it has to be king..though whatever we had in vegas was much bigger than what we have at home and we kept losing each other in the night.

isnt cal king about the same area size as the regular king? with just different leghth width ratio?

Yes.. Eastern King is wider and shorter, Cal King is longer but narrower.

Hmm then I wonder what I really do have...mine is about 7 x 7 same all around.
