school of rock - any good?
 

it is just about to open in the UK and I can't tell from the previews if it will be good or crap. I'm hit and miss with Jack Black but I wouldn't mind something funny and musical but don't want something too dumb/gross out humourish.

I give it two :thumbsup! I liked it a lot, good movie, for everyone...kids and adults!

Suposed to be good.

Pretty good movie. Kind of a dumbed down version of Dead Poets Society but it's fun.

Is that with that idiot Jack Black? I cannot stand that guy.

I have no idea why but I have started to find my self attracted to him..not always but sometimes in the right light :1orglaugh I have always been attracted to music geeks..ugh

It's a "cute" movie, but I enjoyed it.

Jack Black is a funny mother fucker. Its a good movie if you like comedy that doesnt take much thought.

saw it a long time ago...not all that good...

Was a pretty good movie, however its biggest let down was its length, jokes eventually became few and far between.

normally I hate hate hate hate these loser makes good type movies, but this one was so damn fun and entertaining (the kids were actually endearing instead of fucking annoying and those little munchkin musicians can fucking play) that it was my second favorite movie of 2003 (slightly, very slightly behind "American Splendor")

I would have Jack's ass babies.

okay, sounds like me ..I can't deal with overly cute and suagary sweet stuff but sounds like it is worth a go.

I'm eagerly waiting for it to come out. Looks great, and Jack Black is funny as hell.

The movie was ok. If you're expecting him to be as funny as he was in Saving Silverman, you're in for a disappointment.

funny this came up, last night I went out and come to find out I had a special tea mixed with shrooms. :p well comes to the point right after I drank it I saw the movie and It was great. maybe since I was tripping it was good. but all in all it was a funny movie, and worth it.

Its oki doki but you must not go to a cinema for it, its good stuff for the home cinema :winkwink:

It´s just comedy and nothing more. If U want a film somehow more demanding, U should watch an other film. For just laughing a bit it´s enough.
