I'm in good contact with the new owners, the only 'point of discussion' is the talking ad on the 404 which can be a quite annoying one to stumble across when you're surfing at work, but I'm sure we'll get around that one eventually. Anyway, smutserver is back on the white-list!

Not really... it does make me feel super duper special that every time some people are thankful or give compliments in some way someone always seems upset enough to waste valuable time on making remarks like this one...

Like I said before, I'm not trying to tell smutserver how to run their business. Obviously you have not seen the e-mail conversations I had with the new owners, I made it very clear that I respect when they changed... But they also have to respect the fact that I can't link that. ARS and I had that going for instance. We both didn't agree with eachother, but I respected they popped the consoles and they respected I didn't want to link to that. Two companies, two policies, mutual respect. Easy. Has nothing to do with dictating people how to run their business, it has everything to do with telling people how I run mine... that's a totally different thing...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't ARS offer console free links?:eek7

Who bought smutserver?

They didn't do that untill 3 months I stopped listing 'em. ARS got back at me when they changed it. At the time they ended up on my blacklist they didn't have a console-free option, so I didn't link to 'em anymore. Once they added the console free version I adapted my bot to notify people about that option when they submitted a gallery with the 'regular' version...

Everyone should pay attention to Patrick (The Hun). He knows how to run a high-quality consumer product which is the main reason for his success.

Kudos on managing your product. You had every right to blacklist them and bring them back after they conformed.

This goes to show why TheHun is so well respected. The willingness to communicate and work things out goes a long way in being successful.
