How correct is this assumption on traffic vs sales ratios ?

The sales to clicks ratio for a pay site is 1:300
Average member stays as a member for 2.5 months
The average payout for a web master is 50%
The average monthly charge for a membership is 30.00

If those are correct then on average I get to make 37.50 a member (30.00*2.5*50%)

How close am I on my numbers

Thanks

Jay

sales to click ratio is a big variable.

there is highly targeted filtered traffic.

there is blind traffic, exit traffic, redirected traffic, circle jerk traffic.

there is foreign traffic that can't buy anything.

that's number one variable.

next you get to the quality of the site and what it offers.

that's number two variable.

next you get to the scrub ratio of the e-commerce vendor.

that's number three variable.

many variables.

how did you come by these numbers anyways.

how many hits is your site getting, unique, not raw.
