External Firewire Hard Drive Enclosure Recommendations
 

anybody ever bought one of these external hard drive enclosures?

I'm looking for an external, hot swappable hard drive enclosure similar to this one :

for either 4 or 8 drives...

basically, I'm looking forward to being able to hook up 4 or so hard drives on the computer externally for easy swapping..

this is for video editing purposes where rendering time is not an issue (otherwize, I'd build myself a scsi raid array)


if you know any ressources with such things, let me know... or if you have any walkthru / places where I can buy the components and build one myself, that's awesome too

actually, I think I'd be better off building it myself by simply buying the Firewire->ide bridge adaptor like http://www.cooldrives.com/fi800i13toid2.html


anyone of you know of stores that would have such things that ship to Canada?

mostly all of these are US based
