Assholes at the car dealership
 

If you live in Southern CA, where do you buy your cars? I got financing at Eloan.com but I've gone to two dealerships and they won't sell me a car using my financing, they keep trying to go with their financing which I have refused.

They are more willing to work with you if you use "their" financing. But they still should beable to work with you with your own financial institution. Did you ask to speak to the finance manager or sales manager at these dealers that didn't want to deal with you, or did you just deal with a salesman?

Tell them to fuck off. There are a million dealerships out there that will be more than happy to take your money. The financing is where the real money is at for a car dealer but once you've made it clear that you have your own they should back off and do the deal.

At one of the dealerships, I dealt with the fleet manager after dealing with a salesman and then the salesman's boss.

I've decided to file a formal complaint with CA Attorney general's office because both dealerships said that I had to fill out credit application to buy a car.
