Should I turn my ex girlfriend into the FBI?
 

I supported this girl and her 3 kids for about a year until she just recently moved out. Today I received a call from one of her ex boyfriends and he proceeded to tell me that he had been seeing her the last 2 months she was living here. He gave me very detailed info on certain things like times and dates they would meet, 'code words' she would say to him when he would call if I was there, and other things that validated what he was telling me. Then he also told me she would tell him she was using me and a lot of other hateful shit about things that he wouldnt know unless she told him. He also told me she stole $5,000 from one of my accounts and I checked it out and sure as shit she did. And during this time this bitch would constantly tell me how much she loved me. I was in fucking shock.
Apparently she told him she would be with him after she left and it didnt happen so he was pissed and thought I should know.


Then he told me something else. She has a friend that works for the US Government and this friend had been printing government checks in my ex's name and they had been depositing the checks and splitting the money. Apparently this has been going on for the past 5 years and they have stolen close to $100,000 from the government. He gave me all the info (friends name, govt agency, etc) to bust them and told me to do what I wanted with it. I have mixed feelings about turning her in, what would you do?

Time to call the federales, wait til they're both locked up in the box, let your anger simmer down quietly then you bring the hitman out a few years down the line.

If the friend is a female then tell her you know what's up and you're going to turn them in unless they both blow you at the same time. Then get your revenge blowjob and turn the two in and tape the conversation where you tell them you know.

As someone who always gets fucked over by women I feel your pain. That must have really hurt.

I have mixed feelings about turning her in. Unless a person is physically hurting people or involved in something like CP then I'm not one to be a snitch. You were hurt and you learned something from the experience so it wasn't a total loss.

It sounds like sooner or later she will get busted. But if after you've had some time think about and you really want to get even than be smart about it. She could have a back up plan in place that you don't know about. And turning her in could be exactly what she wants you to do. And whoever this guy is that called you is someone you don't know. He could be part of a bigger plan. Or, he could be telling the truth as he sees it. But it sounds like if she's smart enough to take you for that kinda money and convince this other guy that she wants to be with him and then leave you and not be with him than why would she have told him all that info?

My point is that it doesn't make sense that she would tell him all this info and then leave him? She'd be leaving herself open. Something isn't right in the situation. It could be that she just is stupid and she screwed up by telling this other guy so much stuff. But if she's been doing this for so long it's hard to believe she was able to keep it up so long if she was stupid. Just be careful and think it out first before you jump in to it.

Just out of curiosity, how did she take 5k from one of your accounts and you not realize it till someone told you? Don't turn her in regarding the gov checks just yet, you may need her to cash a few more to pay you the 5k she owes you.

How old are her kids? Is the other parent around, responsible enough to take care of them if she's in jail?

Why would she so confide in this other person and you had no clue of these government cheques she's been cashing?

Anyhow, if it weren't for the kids, she'd already be rotting in jail. Your 5k is probably gone - but what you can do however is report the fraud to your bank, they may reimburse you if they didn't check who signed the cheques & what not.

I donno about in the US but in Canada the cops pay good money for leads like that. If you were gonna turn her in cause pissed might as well make some money for sticking your neck out.

I would avoid following the advice of the people telling you to blackmail her. Something tells me it's illegal :)

I've dealt with the FBI twice. They're great to go after people that have fucked you over for 6 to 7 figs.
