Someone offers u computer stuff at a deep discount. what do u do?
 

interestingly enough coz a situation is presented in front of me.

thru a mutual friend, they offered me monitors and such at a deep discount. (read: stolen)

what would u do?

if you think its wrong, dont buy

if you dont care if its stolen, buy it and be happy

buy it, and hook up your fellow montreal-based GFYers.

If the idea of owning it bothers you then walk away or call up a shady friend who would like that kinda deal and charge a hookup fee to put the 2 together and after doing that a few times you will have the difference between the "deep discount" price and a new legit one..

Most people get their insurance money ... I would check out what,s on the hard drive tough cauz that can be a lot of trouble for somebody (There was an ad in Le journal de montreal) . An artist in MTL had a lot of texts and a whole cd on his computer and he didn't had any backups . He lost 2 years of work ...

The police monitors locally for stolen goods . You shouldn't put something stolen in the same city as you live in . Anyawys I wouldn't sell any stolen shit on the internet that's just wrong.

i think the merchandise is stolen from stores.. i dare to venture a guess and say futureshop.

i know plenty of people who will pay you a 10% commission for the hookup if the prices are very good.
