I need my EIN # - how long does it take to recieve that info?
 

about a week ago I registered a company name and the process now says it has been "filed" (through an online thing, i ordered it through incorporate.net). now i need my Tax ID (EIN)...

i see a cheesy ass looking website that claims it can get you that info within a day.

how long does it usually take? and are there any web services you recommend to use that might speed things up opposed to filling it out manually yourself.

I got mine in a day online. Now that I think about it, I do think that site looked kinda cheesy.

If you call the 800 number and do it over the phone they issue it to you right away

I dont know what the number that I called was, so go to your state.gov and search there!
