Times have changed

I had just started selling sports cards on a large scale on ebay. Was pushing around 20k gross per month in sports cards and another 10k in phone cards.

debating whether to sell my financial business and do this full time.

First half of 99 was fine. In July my wife told me she'd fallen out of love, didn't want to deal with all the responsibilities of the day to day mom stuff anymore, and she wanted a divorce. So the 2nd half of the year was a complete and total nightmare while I struggled to try and revive our marriage. All to no avail.

To make matters worse one night when I was totally depressed and bummed out over losing my wife, I went to a local strip club and fell head over heels for a dancer that was a spitting image of Pam Anderson, who took advantage of me at one of the weakest moments in my life and played me out for a fool to the max and sucked a ton of money out of me over the next few months.

hmm, i was a couple of years into running a paysite. stayed completely away from the boards except to read once in awhile.

my entire life was work. pretty much the same now i guess. just more work.

I had it for 5 years in Sacto and over a year up here ! It was in the green after the first month both times but I just did not want to START all over again in a new town. Guess you can say the 2nd store just did not have the special customers the first store did and I started make porn sites ! :)
