toronto cell phone advice
So we're shopping for a new cell phone
the last one was a nokia phone under fido and we had to run out to the porch to get any reception.... My questions..... LG, sony erikkson or other? is it the phone or the company or combination of that gives you the best reception? rogers or sympatico? thanks for your imput all :thumbsup |
My cell phone is with rogers and i have never had a reception problem!
i have a 2year old nokia had a fido and the reception sucked ass |
BELL
|
go with Bell...just choose your plan properly or you can rack up roaming charges fast
|
so it's the service that determines the reception you get indoors or out?
|
hmm i am a dealer for att nextel sprint and tmobile. Tmobile is hot with their phones. Do they have that in canada? Sony Erikson is hot like the p 900.

but if the Sony/Ericsson handset is within your budget, you will NOT regret that phone with a top rated carrier. Rogers/AT&T or Telus are your best bets in Ontario :thumbsup |
i know they have sprint here..the others i'm not sure
|
i don't really know.....i think it would matter who the service provider was in regards to reception. The phone must play a part as well but im thinking the service itself is more important.

we dont need all the bells and whistles but i'd be extremely happy with a cam phone...lol

Go with Rogers and if you want a deal on your fone go to Pacific Mall in Markham, its like another China Town... soo many cell phone stores that they are fighting one another to outsell so prices are low. Good luck.
|
BELL has the best reception, granted the phones aren't to oprety looking, but I can get reception underground and anywhere in Toronto. Actually I was getting great reception even when I took my phone to the desert in California.

I have a Rogers cell phone with a Nokia and it works very well, indoors/outdoors in elevators, in big buildings, etc.
My roomate has a Bell and he always complains about losing connections and usually ends up using my phone when indoors. WG |
Za Ha...thanks for the tip babe!
This is quite the decision...lol....bell and rogers are at a split right now with referrals/advice. We'll let you know what happens ...hoping tomorrow is the day. Thanks to everyone for your imput..i really appreciate your help :) xoxoxoxo |
