whats the max you would send in a transaction over paypal?
 

paypal blows, i usually stick to cc, but i wouldnt go over 1k

I get amounts in the high hundreds and low thousands - no problem so far. Why?

Not positive, but doesn't PayPal have a sending limit of $10,000 per transaction? You can do multiple transactions though if you need to go over that.

if you trust the person company i will send whatever it takes...it's just as risky as a CC payment or bank wire

What are you talking about.. there is 0 risk in a bank wire. One the money is in your account it cannot be removed.

i wouldn't have a problem sending X amount but recieving alot on the other hand, is when paypal will really fuck you

Have sent up to 5k without problems anymore we would use wire.

The max i sent was 2 payments of 5k i believe...had no problems with that.

i sond a few tranfers over $500-$1000 never had any problems.

But i think $2000 would be the max

when you start sending over 1k its cheaper to send a wire, as they charge nearly 3% and then currency conversions if not in usa.

there tricky with there charges with international customers.

paypal I dont use, epassporte charge $0,25 per transfer, ive sent a couple of K thru them and that has been very smooth.......

I won't accept anything more than a grand, and even that is pushing it. I've never had a problem myself in using PayPal and I've been in it for years, but there are WAY too many horror stories about accounts being frozen so I try to keep as little in there at one time as possible.
