omg, i feel like ripping my spine out myself

my back hurts that bad today. I'm glad that I have the laptop next to the bed so I can work laying down. Whoever designed the human body didn't do this whole spine thing as good as they could have. :helpme

My spine hates me too. I hope you feel better.
Dr. Amelia prescribes hot salty baths, heating pad, massage, and moderate kava kava.

Ice pack, a couple of Advil, and a big fat doobie will help!

At least it does for me.

I broke my back in three places in a car wreck in 92... I was told I would not walk again.....

that is why I have my legal MJ card, and it is the best thing for pain I have ever tried.... seriously all stoner jokes aside, as pain is nothing to joke about...

Have you tried Yoga, Sarah?

you have to be kidding. Sitting up and getting down to my desk was as much as I am doing today. Skipped the getting dressed bit..was too much bending.

I've done the hot bath, I have a heating pad on it and I just popped some pills. Work time :)

LOL
I was just thinking for the relaxation aspect of it. It can be so calming and soothing that the pain basically melts away. It's all about state of mind.

Hey Joesho, did you see that Dr Lavek had his license suspended yesterday. :(

Sarah I hope you back is feeling better soon. I threw my back out last Sunday and had to spend three days in bed before I could get around.

Aleve and smoking really helps :glugglug

I have similar back issues. Cold pack and advil. Once you get it under control for a few days, you have to start getting more active. I know this sounds nuts but bad backs get worse as we lay around. It took me years to figure this out but what a total difference the last year has been since I changed this aspect of my life.

I have done html lying under my desk looking up at the monitor and it can be done but it sucks.
