How many sponsors are you signed up to?

I just moved last week-end... and now have to change my address at 800+ sponsor programs.
I have a long road ahead of me :(

How many programs are you signed up to?

hershie 03-05-2004 04:41 PM

185 sponsors exactly. :)

hova 03-05-2004 04:41 PM

LOL, had that same problem a couple of months ago! Fucking shitty job to do, but I only have like 400 so it was okay :(

Sheri Santiago 03-05-2004 04:42 PM

I have about 120 or so

jact 03-05-2004 04:43 PM

I think 25? Though I get emails from a ton of sponsors I don't remember signing up to, so I probably have accounts and totally forgot.

dunefield 03-05-2004 04:44 PM

stats remote checks the stats from almost all of them, i wonder if they could make a way to update your profile in them all, all in one shot.

We thought about this but decided not to implement it. It would be too dangerous. Programs change their stats areas all the time. If they just change one field in the update form StatsRemote might submit wrong info and your accounts could be really screwed up then.

I must be signed up for at least 75 (if I count all CCBill programs as 1 program). I'm active with less than 10 though. There are dozens out there that still have my old address.

boardersweetie 03-05-2004 06:30 PM

They're all listed here: www.sponsorslist.com

JB, I understand fully... that is very true. But perhaps it could just come with a big ass disclaimer? USE AT YOUR OWN RISK type of thing?
Or a step-by-step feature where they could just press the button to do each sponsor and if something goes wrong, they could manually fix it?

I dunno, just trying to think of something that might help.

Even with a disclaimer and a step-by-step feature there would be still liability issues and we won't risk that. As long as StatsRemote 'only' reads stats the worst that can happen is that it displays wrong stats. As soon as it actually submits forms that can change things in an account it gets dangerous.
