I had a huge tarantula once. I let it walk on my face. Completely harmless creature.

Once a fucktard with arachnophobia wanted to hold it, only to freak out once it was in his hand. He threw poor spidey across the room and broke one of his legs.

eroswebmaster 03-05-2004 11:38 PM

Yes, next question.

WoDaT 03-05-2004 11:38 PM

scary

Repetitive Monkey 03-05-2004 11:40 PM

I am contemplating building a tarantula or scorpion terrarium in my bathroom. That would look neat.

420 03-05-2004 11:40 PM

He lost it, and it didn't grow back. He died a few months later though.

But to answer your second question, spiders *can* grow new legs.

Of course. If I get one of the less aggressive species and build a large enough terrarium, I think it would be alright to keep more than one tarantula in it though.

Tarantulas are fascinating creatures. Did you know that they look almost exactly the same as when dinosaurs still ruled the earth?

No, I didnt know that. Neat though, so are crocks and celocanths. It makes you wonder why they didnt continue to evolve. Maybe they have reached perfection. I dont know if spiders are social, so I dont know how they would get along. I know that spiders and scorpions do NOT! Good luck, postapic when its done. :)

riosluts 03-06-2004 12:59 AM

Yeha i myself im affair of spiders and snakes and rats. Did you know that every human eats about 5-6 spiders in their lifetime, when their asleep

I didn't know that, but I am sure it is likely. Once I woke up from a fairly large spider crawling over my face.

Yes, I think that may be it also. Evolution happens when a mutation/developed difference gives an advantage over "standard" members of the species, and thus makes the superior specimens able to produce more offspring in the long-term, washing out the weaker genes slowly but surely. Spiders seem to be perfect as they are, and capable of producing masses of offspring in almost any environment.

The evidence of their evolutionary perfection can also be seen on the millions upon millions of sub-species, who in effect are nothing but small environment-fitted variations of the basic model.
