Should he sell the site for that money?
Well a friend was contacted by a company that wants to buy the domain intelliradio.com off him
He told them that he is generally interested depending on the price. They answered and offered him 250 bucks. He msged me and told me that the domain is worth nothing to him. It was registered only because it had a nice PR. Now you ask yourself why I post this here. What i found to be interesting is the fact that the email he showed me had the domain: http://www.intellim.com/ in the signature. I of course visited that website :) -> interesting... now i look at the footer and see this: http://www.intellimresearch.com/ and there I see those domains on the left: Intellibuddy Intellideal Intellifun Intellisavings Intellisearcher Intellisingles All that makes me think that they could really need/want that domain hehe :Graucho Should he really sell for 250 bucks? I would ask way more. Wanna would like to hear your thoughts. |

If they are a real company they pay atleast $2500
|
ask at least $1000
|
Say $2500 but accept $1000 if its worth nothing for him $1000 is better than nothing.

whatever. if you're too greedy they're just going to walk away. they can get a million domains with that prefix. they're all available.
|
haha, i checked out intellibuddy.com... i made the girlys talk dirty to me...
then they asked if i was aware that they logged all conversations.. try it!! :Graucho |
>You: Do you like porn?
>Intellibuddy: Sure I do, User, but that doesn't mean with you. ... Fun :1orglaugh |

we used to run that script on our webmaster forum you can code it say any crazy shit you want as for the domain dont try to sell too high liek someone else said - they can get any intelli- domain they want really. |
Post the email, I need to fire one off today to someone. This cat is no good at creative writing. :1orglaugh
|
ok
will tell him to write them that the domain should be worth at least ten times what they offered right now to them asking for a new quote on the domain. This should work, dont you think? Thanks for your thoughts :) keep comments coming if you want :glugglug |
It's worth more.
|
I wouldn't sell below $500 - just of self-respect they need to pay it :)
|
:glugglug :thumbsup

He just sent me that.... cut from the email he got:
"Thanks for the promt reply. Unfortunately the price cannot go much higher than our original offer. We can probably go up to $300.00-will this work? " so will this work? i say no :) |

Why not get an agent to sell it. This way they will get the best price.

count ur lucky stars someone actually wants such a shoddy domain and take the 300.
|
careful not to bid too high...they might call your bluff
|
tough call, if you want more than they are willing to pay then you will lose out. considering its a shitty domain i would probably ask for $450, i think they will pay that, i wouldnt get greedy because you may regret it
|
Depends on who is buying it, but $1,000 for a unique domain name would be fair.
Otherwise they would register their own version of it for $75 for 10 years. |
just say your not intrested...they will increase there offer.
|
he has his shit together enough to figure out that it is smart to cover all the miss spelling because you will miss out on a lot of business simply because people are retarded.
No offence to NECOEDS because he still has to wear a helmet to go out side. Hope you are having fun down iin Texas :321GFY |
i am thinking of buying intellitv.com

as far as the other comments go i will recommend him to tell them he is not interested in anything below 500 bucks |

I would not push too hard. Thsi company does not look like it is doing that well. Their bot is cool though.
|
he said he's not gonna do anything with it anyway, sell for $300
still a very nice profit margin |
