our thoughts really dont matter, but I think its very insulting.

He should show images of tanks rolling over the sand surrounding Baghdad, and him in his pilot suit, and him with his fake turkey for Thanksgiving, and show clips of dead iraqis and dead american soldied in his campaign.

Fletch XXX 03-06-2004 12:01 PM

maybe flash the Haliburnton logo with the flashing text...

"how much did YOU make this year off the war?

I got rich!"

genomega 03-06-2004 12:09 PM

I love it makes the left wingers go crazy.

Only turncoats like kerry can use wars for their advantage.

are all the victims families left?

I have read COUNTLESS quotes from Republican victims families, and they do NOT support him doing this.

so why make up comments like the above?

Show me proof all the people bitching are let, or your comment is not true.

Triple 6 03-06-2004 12:11 PM

politics are fucking gay.

it seems like they only give a shit about the public when its election/re-election time.

:feels-hot

as for that commercial... i read of victim families that arent pissed off they used wtc in those ads.... IMO its in poor taste

Fletch XXX 03-06-2004 12:12 PM

Even the firefighters who cleaned up the dead, dont want to see it.

""As a firefighter who spent months at Ground Zero, it's deeply offensive to see the Bush campaign use these images to capitalize on the greatest American tragedy of our time," said retired city Firefighter Tom Ryan.""

The International Association of Fire Fighters, the parent union of most big-city fire unions, also criticized the ads.

President Harold Schaitberger accused the Bush campaign in a letter of "trading on the heroism of those 343 brothers of mine who were FDNY members who fell in the terrorist attack."

Bush supporters have defended the ads, arguing that the events of Sept. 11 defined his presidency and was evidence of his leadership in a time of crisis.

City police and firefighter unions have been meeting secretly for months to plan a protest during the Republican convention, sources have told Newsday.

The unions and Schaitberger have accused Bush and other elected officials of praising the heroism of rescue workers but not providing the funding to increase training and resources for a future terrorist attack or other emergency.

Same answer as always.

George Bush Junior is the worst thing to ever happen to the US and if Americans are actually considering voting him in for another term then the ppl are brainwashed.

Any Americans wanna give some info on how he is looking in the polls?

That's extremely cynical to use such a tragedy for ones election campaign. Only complete scum could so this way :feels-hot

PatrickKing 03-06-2004 12:41 PM

I was a few blocks from the trade center during the attacks , I watched the people jumping , I saw the buildings fall. This is just fucked up that bush would use such a horrible event to promote himself. If his administration was'nt asleep at the wheel the horrific event may have been prevented. :2 cents:

kenny 03-06-2004 12:46 PM

That wasnt the best move for marketing himself.

Fire the campaign manager..

Bush will still win by a land slide though

BuckLover 03-06-2004 12:48 PM

I don't think it's right!

Sad....... desperate measures from a leader who's seen his popularity nose dive since 9/11

The only time he was liked was in the days after 9/11 so hes trying to milk it for every cent.

Unfortunetly Nascar dads werent there and didnt see what you witnessed.

Those TV ads were for rednecks, who think 911 is theres.

Paul Waters 03-06-2004 01:01 PM

Seeing Bush's puppeters use the Sept 11 images for political purposes, makes me want to revisit the notion that the whole event was a conspiracy.
